    What is merchi.ai?

    merchi.ai is an AI-powered platform that automatically generates product content from images. Upload your product images, and we create titles, descriptions, attributes, and more.

    4. Review and approve generated content

    Uploading Products

    What file formats are supported?

    • Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, SVG
    • ZIP files: Standard ZIP archives
    • Spreadsheets: CSV, XLS, XLSX

    What’s the maximum file size?

    • Single images: 20MB
    • ZIP files: 500MB
    • Spreadsheets: 50MB

    How many products can I upload at once?

    ZIP uploads can contain thousands of products. For very large batches, we recommend splitting into multiple ZIPs.

    How long does processing take?

    • Single images: 30-60 seconds
    • Small batches (10-50): A few minutes
    • Large batches (100+): Depends on size, typically minutes to an hour

    Content Generation

    How accurate is the AI-generated content?

    AI content is generally accurate but should always be reviewed. Accuracy depends on:

    • Image quality
    • Writing Knowledge configuration
    • Product complexity

    Can I edit the generated content?

    Yes! All content is fully editable. Click any field to modify it.

    How do I improve content quality?

    1. Use high-quality images
    2. Configure detailed Writing Knowledge
    3. Include multiple product images
    4. Provide existing product data if available

    Does the AI copy content from the web?

    No. merchi.ai generates original content based on analyzing your images and following your Writing Knowledge guidelines.

    Languages

    What languages are supported?

    We support 30+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, and more.

    How do multi-language content work?

    merchi.ai generates content natively in each configured language rather than translating from a base language. This produces higher quality, more natural-sounding content in each language.

    Can I have different content per language?

    Yes. Since content is generated independently for each language, you can also edit each language version separately.

    Workflow

    What do the workflow statuses mean?

    • Pending: Awaiting initial review
    • Review: Under active review
    • Approved: Ready for use
    • Rejected: Needs revision

    Who can change workflow status?

    All team members with appropriate permissions can change status.

    Can I export only approved products?

    Yes. Filter by Approved status in the All Products View, then export.

    Is my data secure?
