Primary Language
Your primary language is the base language for content generation:
- Set your primary language by selecting the radio button next to it
- This determines the primary output language
How Multi-Language Works
merchi.ai generates content natively in each configured language rather than translating from a base language. This approach produces higher quality, more natural-sounding content in each language because:
- Native Generation: Content is created fresh for each language, respecting language-specific conventions
- Cultural Adaptation: Each language version is generated with cultural context in mind
- Better Quality: Avoiding translation means no “translated” feel in the output
Viewing Content by Language
In the All Products View, you can switch between languages using the locale dropdown in the top right corner. This lets you:
- Review content in each language
- Edit language-specific content
- Compare content across languages
Best Practices
Choose Languages Strategically
Only add languages you actually need. More languages means more content to review.
Review Each Language
Since content is generated independently for each language, review each version to ensure quality.
Cultural Considerations
Some content may need manual adjustment for cultural differences specific to your target markets.
Removing a Language
To remove a language:
- Click the Remove button next to the language
- Click Save to confirm
Note: Removing a language will not delete existing content in that language.
