PDF Uploads
When you upload a PDF:
- The first page is used as the product’s primary image in the product grid
- All pages (up to your account’s page limit) are read by the AI to generate product content
- The PDF appears in the product detail view under the Documents section
Page limits
Each account has a maximum pages-per-PDF limit (default: 4 pages). PDFs exceeding this limit are rejected at upload. You can view and adjust your limit (up to your account cap) in Settings → Assets. Contact support to increase your cap.
Unsupported PDFs
- Password-protected PDFs: Rejected at upload. Remove the password and re-upload.
- Scanned PDFs: Accepted, but AI extraction quality may be lower than a digital specification sheet. For best results, use PDFs with a selectable text layer.
PDF uploads are ideal for:
- Technical data sheets
- Specification documents
- Product brochures
- Catalogue pages
