    ZIP Upload

ZIP Upload is the most efficient way to add multiple products with images to merchi.ai. Package your product images in a ZIP file and upload them all at once.

    Preparing Your ZIP File

    File Naming Convention

Name your image files using your Product ID (SKU) followed by an underscore and a sequential number:

    my-products.zip
    ├── SKU1234_1.jpg
    ├── SKU1234_2.jpg
    ├── SKU1234_3.jpg
    ├── SKU5678_1.jpg
    ├── SKU5678_2.jpg
    ├── SKU5678_3.jpg
    └── PROD999_1.png

    Naming Rules

    • Product ID: The part before the underscore becomes your Product ID (e.g., SKU1234)
    • Image Number: The number after the underscore determines the image order (e.g., _1, _2, _3)
    • The first image (lowest number) becomes the primary image
    • Use your existing SKU or product codes
    • Keep product IDs unique
    • Avoid special characters in product IDs (except hyphens and underscores)

    Troubleshooting

    Upload Fails

    • Check file size (max 500MB per ZIP)
    • Ensure ZIP is not corrupted
    • Try a smaller batch
    • Check internet connection

    Missing Products

    • Verify file naming convention is correct (SKU_number.jpg)
    • Check for hidden files in the ZIP
    • Ensure images are in supported formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, SVG)

    Poor Content Quality
